Foundational Anatomy and Biomechanics for the Moving Body

Explore the force of breath to learn its influence on the tissues of the core, and conversely, the tissues of the core’s influence on the mechanics of breath. Participate in a creative, novel practice to explore spinal mechanics and map the muscles of your torso. Practice postural assessment skills to better understand the sophisticated and often misinterpreted concept of core stability in movement.

About the series
This dynamic workshop series will empower you with a foundational understanding of key anatomical structures, clarify sophisticated biomechanical concepts, and inspire a life-long fascination to learn more about the human body. The majority of time will be spent applying concepts experientially. Optional home study aids provided.
