In this workshop you will tap into the strength and suppleness of your innermost core lining which includes the muscles that stabilize your spine, the muscles you use to breathe, and the muscles of your pelvic floor. Beginning with self-massage using Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls, we’ll unwind tension along the spine, abdomen, and pelvic floor to free breath, movement, and awareness. Next, utilizing resistance bands, we’ll explore core-focused exercises that help the spine articulate movement in all the ways it can curve, spiral, and undulate. With enhanced sensory awareness of our center, we’ll explore a variety of somatic practices to instill relaxation, fluidity, and control to our innermost core.
